In the foreground, a man in an orange robe with white markings on his arm holds up a brass tray toward a second man in a purple dhoti and matching purple shawl with rudraksha malas and gold bangles, who holds a bowl over a decorated shivalingam. The lingam is draped in garlands of yellow, red and purple flowers. Behind them stand two metal deity figures with jeweled crowns, garlanded and adorned with gold jewellery and a red-and-orange drape. The arch behind is gold-leafed. The scene reads as a pada puja or abhishekam offering.2011-12-14 +1 copiesDecember 14 20112011-12-14A temple photograph of a pada puja at a Shiva temple.
