A photograph taken from behind a crowd inside a decorated tent hall with a white fabric ceiling hung with colourful tasselled orange, red and blue streamers and round paper lanterns. In the foreground, people in white ritual clothes stand with their backs to the camera. At the front, a large screen shows a bearded man seated on a pink-cushioned throne wearing an orange and red garment, with an audience pictured on the screen behind him. A standing figure in dark clothing stands near the front right, with a golden stand beside him. The scene resembles a satsang or darshan gathering during a temple celebration.
