A dense street procession in Tamil Nadu moves past a shaded building wall. Under a red, green and gold ceremonial umbrella, many men in white shirts and dhotis walk alongside saffron-clad participants. A man in an orange cloth on the left raises his arm. Handheld banners in Tamil script bear portrait photographs and slogans, and several poster portraits are pasted on the wall to the right. People stand on a ledge above the wall, a uniformed police officer stands nearby, and a drum and orange flag appear at lower right.
