Indoor home scene during a padapuja house visit in a yellow-walled living room with a beige sofa and a wall clock. A bald elderly man in white dhoti and shirt with a red-and-white rudraksha-style bead mala and a tilak on his forehead kneels and touches the arm of a young boy in orange robes garlanded with white flowers. A woman in an orange sari bends forward, hands near the boy's feet, while a second boy in orange sits at lower left and a woman in a white sari at lower left holds a metal bowl. Behind them, a woman in a green salwar kameez and red dupatta, a woman in a silver-and-gold sari, a girl in blue, and a small child stand with hands folded in namaskar. An ornate silver staff topped with a trident-like finial stands at right.
