Outdoor relief distribution in a village street after a cyclone, with bare broken trees and palms behind a thatched hut and a blue tarpaulin shelter. A blue-and-white truck bed serves as a serving platform, where several volunteers in saffron and white clothing, with green and white head coverings, ladle food from steel pots. Villagers crowd forward holding steel vessels: elderly women in saris, a woman in a yellow salwar kameez with a long braid, and women in blue and brown saris. The food is being handed out as annadaan.
