A man in an orange saffron robe with a shaved head stands at left, hand raised near his mouth. Beside him a woman in a white sari with a light shawl is receiving something from a man in a pink shirt and blue jeans, who is barefoot and holds a fruit. Another woman in a cream sari stands at the far left edge. Decorative woven pillar hangings in red, orange and green frame the scene, and a window opens onto trees outside. The orange-robed man is not clearly identifiable as a person from appearance cues alone, so he is described by role only.A photograph inside a shrine room showing a young man in saffron-orange robes and a rudraksha-style beaded necklace holding a lit silver oil lamp (aarti) toward a deity shrine decorated with garlands. Beside him, a man in a cream striped kurta stands with palms pressed together in namaskar, and a woman in a floral salwar kameez with hands folded also stands in prayer. Beside him a woman in a red blouse and dark sari holds the pot with him. Behind them are an ornate gold-framed backdrop, garlanded deity murtis with a trident, and a dark-haired man in red seated in the background. The scene reads as an abhishekam offering at a temple-style home shrine.2008-05-03June 19 20132013-06-19July 19 20102010-07-19Indoor photo of a temple-like hall with a white ceiling and hanging decorative banners.
