A photograph of an ornately carved golden-brown ceremonial vehicle, a decorated ratha, viewed from the rear at a paved courtyard. A large framed portrait above the windshield shows a smiling man in a white turban and white clothing, with Tamil text beneath it. Carved peacock and floral motifs decorate the vehicle's front panel, which carries Tamil script on a plaque. Palm trees, orange pillars and a white building frame the scene, and several men in white dhotis and shirts stand nearby watching. The portrait is a printed depiction on the vehicle, not a physical person.
