Trays of dried herbs, seeds, roots, leaves and spices are arranged in rows on a red cloth-covered table. Brass and steel plates hold small leaf bowls filled with green leaves, dried bark pieces, yellow turmeric-like powder, whole nuts, berries and grains. A small brass kalasha-style pot and a brass dish with yellow powder sit near the top, with a wooden box at the back.

A top-down view of many small shallow leaf plates arranged in rows on a woven striped mat, each holding a different dried herb, seed, bark piece, root, flower, powder or mineral. Some plates are pale, some brown, some bright yellow or black. No people are visible; this appears to be an arrangement of yajna offering materials laid out before a fire ritual.
