The male figure wears a red turban with a jewelled ornament, a red and gold dhoti, a silver-studded waist belt, a large silver-embellished necklace, and bangles, and holds a golden staff topped with a finial in one raised hand. The female figure, seated beside him, wears an orange and gold sari with a red border, a silver necklace, a maang tikka, flowers in her hair, and holds a golden object in one hand. Behind them are stone pillars and a white draped backdrop. These are statues, not living people, consistent with a deity alankaram display.February 21 20132013-02-21June 28 20132013-06-28Low-angle photo of two gilded deity murti statues seated together on a golden lotus-shaped pedestal.
