Several ornate metal murti statues of deities stand in a row beside a pink-walled hall, adorned with yellow marigold garlands and jewelled crowns. The central figure wears a tall crown with a dark feather plume, a layered pearl-and-bead necklace and a richly decorated body; another crowned figure on the right has a jewelled headdress with red and green stones. Brass lamps with cup-shaped tops and a pink cloth draped below suggest preparation for worship. Pink curtains hang in the background, with colourful festoons overhead. No physical people are prominently in the foreground.2009-12-24December 23 20102010-12-23A temple-style puja in a hall with a maroon velvet drape behind. Several ornately carved gold-framed thrones or peethas hold deity murtis, each heavily decorated with multicolour marigold and rose garlands and gold ornaments. The central figure sits on a gold-and-maroon cloth with a garland of orange, purple and yellow flowers. Three men stand before the thrones: one in a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl holds a garland and offers an item, a second in white dhoti with a red shawl holds a brass bowl, and a third in an orange dhoti stands with hands joined in namaskar. Rose petals and fruit lie on the floor and a yellow brick is at the front.2015-01-09January 09 20152015-01-09Outdoor photo of a row of decorated utsava murti processional figures standing on a yellow-draped platform in front of pink and maroon swagged drapery. One figure on the right holds a long staff and wears an orange and red garment. A framed picture stands among them. Scattered flower petals lie on the ground, and a white canopy is overhead. No living people are visible.2009-12-23Five deity murti figures are seated side by side on a long golden-bordered cloth against a whitewashed wall in a covered hall. Each figure wears silk saris and garlands of yellow and green flowers, and each is shaded by a multicoloured umbrella with fringed tassels. The figures are statues, not people, and no physical people are visible.2007-12-25A photograph of a temple-style ritual setup on a stage with a maroon velvet drape behind. Several ornate golden thrones or seats are decorated with heavy garlands of red, orange, yellow and white flowers and gold jewellery on the deity murti figures. A central seat holds a crowned deity murti flanked by smaller figures. Priests in white dhoti and orange or saffron cloth stand at left and right, one bowing with hands folded in front of the deities, another at far right in white with a gold-trimmed shawl holding a flower garland. Petals and fruit, a pineapple and a brass vessel lie on the floor, with a red carpet at the centre. The scene is a deity worship offering, shown on a stage with no visible audience.2015-01-09April 23 20132013-04-23 +2 copiesJanuary 09 20152015-01-09December 26 20082008-12-26April 23 20132013-04-23 +2 copiesA temple-style ritual stage with several decorated deity murti seated on gold and cushioned thrones, each draped in flower garlands of red, orange, yellow and marigold. Behind them hangs a deep maroon velvet curtain. On the left, a priest in a bare-chested pose with a reddish-brown dhoti and a cloth over his shoulder holds a lamp, while another attendant in white dhoti and a red garland stands nearby. A central attendant in a rust-orange dhoti stands at a throne, and a priest in white and an orange-saffron shawl stands at the right edge holding a plate. Rose petals scatter the white floor, and a small yellow stone fire pit with fruit offerings and a green leaf sits in the foreground. The scene suggests an abhishekam or puja, with no clear identification of any person.2015-01-09
