The rock is surrounded by green palm fronds, leafy shrubs and small pink-white flowers on dry earth. Two people in white clothing sit partly visible at the upper left edge behind the foliage. The scene suggests a ritual abhishekam-style offering of water on a stone.

He stands on dry earth beside the rock, which is mottled with lichen and wet from the pouring, and small white and pink flowering plants grow around it along with fan-palm fronds. Behind him, another person in white clothing sits partly visible on the ground at the right edge. The rock appears to be an object of ritual worship being bathed in a manner consistent with abhishekam. The man has short dark hair, a bare head, and his face is turned away from the camera, and nothing visible clearly establishes him as a specific individual, so no identity is asserted.2008-05-19Outdoor ritual at a rocky hillside site with green shrubs and palm plants.
