April 27 20062006-04-27April 27 20062006-04-27A seated man in a white embroidered kurta with gold-thread trim and a white dhoti with gold border sits on a white sofa with gold and red cushions, long dark hair swept back, a red bindi on his forehead. A kneeling person in a pale yellow silk shirt leans toward him and touches his forehead with one hand, a gesture of blessing. Behind them a large banner shows a smiling man with long hair and a white turban, labelled with the words Shiva Sutras. Red roses, yellow and white flowers, and pink gerbera bouquets fill the room, with a red-draped side table and a tray of offerings at lower right.2006-04-27April 27 20062006-04-27A seated man in long, flowing cream and gold-bordered ceremonial dress, with long swept-back dark hair and a gold-embroidered collar, places his right hand on the head of a kneeling man in a grey striped shirt who has his palms pressed together in namaste. They sit on a cream sofa piled with red and gold cushions, with bouquets of red roses and pink-orange flowers nearby. Behind them a banner reads SHIVA SUTRAS with a large portrait of a smiling man with long hair, a white turban and dark clothing. The seated figure matches the page's Swamiji reference through his long hair and ornate ceremonial clothing, so this is a probable Swamiji identification, and he is giving a blessing. The scene appears to be an indoor event setting.2006-04-27A seated long-haired man in an off-white embroidered kurta with gold trim and a cream dhoti sits on a white sofa smiling and gesturing toward a kneeling man in a purple sweater. Behind them a large banner reads Shiva Sutras with a portrait of a smiling man in a white turban and dark ceremonial garment. Red roses, gerbera daisies and yellow flowers surround the sofa, and a flower bouquet and decorative cushions sit beside it. A small tray with money or offerings rests on a glass table at lower right.2006-04-27April 27 20062006-04-27Photograph of a seated figure with long dark hair wearing a cream-white robe with gold trim and ornate silver embroidery, smiling as he reaches toward a small golden box or tray on a white-draped couch. Two people kneel or bend before him in the foreground: a woman with dark hair in a white top and a man in a yellow shirt, bowing close to the seat. Behind them stands a man in a white collared shirt with a lanyard. Red roses, yellow and pink flowers, and green fronds decorate the room, and a silver tray lies in front. On the wall behind is a large portrait labelled "Nithyananda" showing a smiling man in a white turban, dark jacket and ornate necklace. Probable Swamiji (probable): the seated figure has long swept-back hair, ornate silver necklace and cream robe with gold trim. The printed portrait shows a turbaned man with ornate jewellery, a depiction and not a physical person.2006-04-27April 27 20062006-04-27Photograph of an indoor event at a lectern-style stage. A man with long dark hair, wearing a cream embroidered silk kurta with gold trim and a red tilak on his forehead, reclines on a white-draped couch and reaches out to a visitor. The visitor, seen from behind, kneels close beside the couch in a blue polo shirt, leaning in toward him. On the white-draped table beside the couch sits a silver tray with a red cloth and pink-red flowers in a vase. Behind them a large backdrop shows a smiling man in a dark embroidered top and the word SUTRA in red letters, with a person logo. Two people are physically present.2006-04-28A seated man in an ivory-white embroidered kurta and cream dhoti with gold border sits on a white-draped sofa, smiling and extending his hand toward a younger man in a rust-orange striped kurta who kneels before him. The seated man has long dark hair and a red tilak on his forehead. Behind them a banner shows a smiling man in dark embroidered clothing above the word Shiva Sutras in orange lettering. Red and pink roses, lilies and gerberas fill vases on the left, and a silver tray with flowers sits at the right, beside red and gold cushions.2006-04-27A photograph of an indoor event with a man in a black leather jacket bending forward, his hand raised to touch the forehead of a long-haired man seated on a cream-covered sofa. The seated man wears an all-white embroidered kurta with gold trim and a red bindi, and a gold-trimmed white shawl draped over his lap. Behind them hangs a red banner reading the event title, with a portrait of a smiling man in a white turban and dark embroidered jacket. The sofa is piled with gold and red cushions. Red and pink roses, gerbera and yellow flowers fill vases on a side table and sofa, and a silver tray with papers rests on a low table in front. The seated figure matches the page's appearance-based cues of long swept hair, ornate white clothing and a ceremonial setting, so this is a person in person.2006-04-27
