Night photograph of a crowded outdoor festival area under a white tent canopy strung with colourful bunting and fairy lights. Many devotees, mostly men in white shirts and women in saris, press together near a stone-pillared gateway decorated with hanging striped cloth tubes, with a stage or temple-like enclosure visible beyond. Some people in the foreground hold bags, a child is visible at lower left, and a small vehicle sits at the left edge. Red and blue lights line the walls and a framed picture hangs on the back wall. No individual is clearly identifiable as a person from the visible cues.
