A photograph of a blessing moment. A man in a green bandhani-patterned kurta with a white turban decorated with a jewelled brooch and feather ornament stands at right, placing both hands on the head of a seated older man with greying hair and a moustache, who wears a white checked shirt. Two other men stand at left, one with glasses, with palms pressed together in namaste. A white shawl hangs behind the blessed man. The background is blurred with warm yellow and orange lights and a filming setup.2011-08-29December 15 20112011-12-15December 13 20112011-12-13A photograph of a man in a cream-coloured turban with jewelled ornaments and a green-and-gold silk garment, wearing a long rudraksha mala and a ceremonial gold necklace, smiling as he places his right hand on the forehead of a bearded man with long hair in a white shirt. Several people in white and pale clothing stand around them, some with hands folded. The setting appears to be an indoor hall with warm lights. Swamiji (probable) is the man in the turban, identified by the turban, ornate clothing, rudraksha mala and gold necklace; the bearded man receiving the blessing is a devotee.2011-12-13A photograph of a man in an orange-saffron turban and matching orange robe with rudraksha bead malas on his neck and wrists placing his right hand on the forehead of an older man with white hair and a white beard, who has his eyes closed and wears a grey-and-white checked shirt. The orange-clad man has a silver ornament at the front of his turban and a dark bun. Behind them an ornate multicoloured canopy umbrella with tassels stands near brass figures and a gold-framed red chair. A seated attendant in white is partly visible at left and a woman's head appears at right. The devotee wears a white shirt and a dark beaded mala. Swamiji (probable) is the white-turbaned figure, identifiable by the turban with feather, long hair and embroidered white garment, giving blessing on the forehead in the presence of devotees.2006-12-23A photograph of a ritual blessing in an ashram hall. A man in a green-yellow turban, green shawl and gold bead necklace with a red cord stands on the right, placing his right hand on the head of a man in a white shirt who bows with palms pressed together. The man in green holds a small white item in his left hand, and a tray with offerings is visible at the lower right. Behind them, other people in white and orange robes stand, and colourful striped hanging banners decorate the upper background. The turban and shawl are green, not saffron; the figure is a priest or devotee performing a blessing, and no clear identity cues are established.2011-02-17September 14 20112011-09-14December 06 20112011-12-06A photograph of a seated man in a white turban and a bright green sash over a green garment, wearing a gold-bead necklace and a red-and-gold throne behind him.
