July 19 20102010-07-19A seated man in orange and maroon robes, seen from behind, sits cross-legged on a mat in front of a temple. A rudraksha mala hangs at his neck and his dark hair is tied up. Before him is a rangoli-like design with a small dark mat and a ring of ash or charcoal. Beyond, an orange-walled temple entrance with white and red striped steps leads to a deity murti decorated with yellow and red garments and flowers. A woman in a green shawl and teal trousers sits at the right edge of the steps. The signboard reads Sri Anandeshwara Temple.2011-01-31A photograph taken from behind of a seated figure in orange and maroon robes, wearing a rudraksha mala around the neck and with long dark hair swept back, sitting cross-legged on a mat facing a temple entrance. The sign above the orange temple façade reads Sri Anandeshwara Temple. Inside, a deity murti is decorated with yellow and red garments and framed by red curtains. A small kolam with white and coloured designs lies on the paved ground in front of the seated figure, beside a patch of gravel and a small folded cloth. A speaker stands at the left of the steps, and potted plants line the terrace. The figure is an appearance-based probable Swamiji, identified by saffron robes, long swept-back hair and rudraksha beads, seated in meditation before the temple shrine.2011-01-31A photo taken from behind of a person seated cross-legged on a paved courtyard facing a temple entrance. The seated figure has dark hair in a low bun, wears an orange unstitched robe with maroon borders draped over one shoulder, and a rudraksha mala around the neck. In front, a red and white striped low wall separates them from a white and red stepped platform leading to a dark doorway flanked by orange walls. A sign above reads Sri Ahandeshwara Temple. Several people sit at the right edge, and a mat and small offerings lie at the lower left. The scene conveys a seated meditation or pranayama session facing the shrine. The figure's appearance is not clearly distinctive enough to confirm identity, so the seated person is described by role only.2011-01-22August 01 20102010-08-01June 18 20102010-06-18A seated man in saffron-orange robes with maroon borders, viewed from behind, sits cross-legged on a mat in front of a temple entrance. His dark hair is tied back and he wears a rudraksha mala around his neck. Before him a sign reads Sri Anandeshwara Temple above an open doorway showing a deity murti decorated in yellow and red. Red-and-white striped steps and potted plants lead up to the shrine, and a seated woman in white and green sits at the right edge. A small patterned floor design and gravel lie in the foreground.2011-01-31A photograph taken from behind of a seated figure in saffron-orange robes with maroon borders, wrapped over one shoulder and bare on the back, sitting cross-legged on a raised orange-cushioned seat with a reddish mat. Long dark hair falls down the back and a rudraksha-style bead necklace is visible at the neck. The figure faces an open temple entrance with a dark roof, white and red striped steps, a small deity murti in yellow and red dressing inside, potted plants and a black speaker to the left. The figure's appearance is consistent with the page's candidate but is not clearly distinctive, so identity is uncertain. A chalk-style kolam design lies on the ground in front of the seat.2011-01-31A seated man in orange robes with maroon borders sits on a low cushioned mat in front of a temple, seen from behind. He wears a rudraksha mala around his neck and has long dark hair gathered at the back. He faces a shrine entrance where a deity murti decorated with yellow and red garments is visible, flanked by steps painted red and white. A banner above the doorway reads Sri Anandeshwara Temple. Ash or charcoal is spread on the ground in front of him, bordered by decorative white rangoli designs, and potted plants stand to the left. One other person in white clothing is partially visible at the right edge.2011-01-31A seated figure in orange saffron robes with a maroon-bordered shawl sits cross-legged on a cushion, viewed from behind, facing a temple entrance. A signboard above reads SRI ANANDESHWARA TEMPLE. Through the open shutters, a deity murti adorned with garlands and yellow-and-red cloth stands on a raised platform under a red canopy. The figure wears a rudraksha mala at the neck and has long dark hair tied back. Burnt grey ash or embers lie in a circle on the paved ground in front, with a small mat and decorative rangoli patterns nearby. Steps with white and orange tiles lead up to the shrine, and a speaker stands at left.2011-01-31A photograph of a figure seated cross-legged on a low wooden seat, viewed from behind, wearing an orange robe with maroon borders draped over one shoulder and a rudraksha mala around the neck; the long dark hair is gathered at the back. The figure faces a temple entrance with a sign reading Sri Anandeshwara Temple, red-and-white striped steps, and a yellow-clad deity murti visible inside the shrine. A seated person in green and white sits at the right edge, and a mat with white kolam-style patterns and grey gravel lies in front. The seated figure's appearance shows several cues (long hair, rudraksha mala, orange clothing), but the face is not visible, so this is an uncertain candidate; described only by role as a seated sadhaka. One physical person is clearly seated in front; a second person is partly visible at the edge.2011-01-31July 19 20102010-07-19
