Outdoor ritual scene in a palm-tree garden. In the centre, a figure in orange robes and a long dark hair sits cross-legged on a sandy ground in front of a dark stone Nandi bull statue draped with a red and yellow garland, with a white square pedestal beside it. Behind, several people in white and cream clothing sit in rows facing the same direction, and a small fire or smoke rises near a tall brass lamp stand on the left. A woman in a grey head covering sits in the foreground among green leafy plants.
