Four-panel collage of temple and ashram ritual scenes. Top-left: a long hall with rows of seated devotees in white and green clothes, several women in saris with flower garlands, and a banner on the wall. Top-right: a shaved-headed priest in white dhoti and shawl performs worship before an adorned deity murti decorated with flower garlands, with a tall temple gopuram and banana-plant decorations. Bottom-left: a priest in saffron-orange robes holds a lit lamp near a fire, with trays of flowers and fruit before a seated figure in white. Bottom-right: a shaved-headed priest in white with a rudraksha mala raises a flame as an assistant in saffron sits beside him; trays of marigold petals, coconuts and brass vessels lie on the floor. Collage of ritual scenes; no individual is clearly identifiable as a specific person.2011-11-29 +2 copiesTwo-panel photo collage of temple worship at Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam. The upper-left panel shows a man in white dhoti and shirt with a yellow shawl pouring water or offering from a small vessel, while a woman in an orange-and-peach sari holds a small child who reaches toward a brass lamp; a second woman in a pink shawl and another in a teal sari stand nearby under trees. The lower-right panel shows a man in white kurta and yellow shawl kneeling before a golden deity murti decorated with red and white flower garlands and blue-and-gold drapery, with brass puja vessels, a kalasha and a plate in front of him. Ritual abhishekam or puja worship is depicted.2010-06-30A two-panel collage of temple worship. The upper panel shows a man in white clothes lighting a brass oil lamp at a shrine, beside a tall figure in long saffron-orange robes with long dark hair standing with hands folded. Gold-toned lamp stands and flower garlands surround the altar. The lower panel shows three people at a stone shrine with an arched gold frame holding a deity murti decorated with garlands: a man in white shirt and dhoti, a man in yellow and white, and a figure in saffron robes with long dark hair, all facing the shrine, with brass lamps on either side. Because the image is a graphic collage, no physical people are counted here.2010-07-18January 15 20122012-01-15October 02 20112011-10-02September 01 20112011-09-01November 22 20112011-11-22October 26 20112011-10-26 +1 copiesOctober 15 20112011-10-15 +1 copiesPhoto 11683875 +2 copiesA two-panel collage of photographs set in a temple shrine room with white walls and a bright interior.
