A smiling man with long dark dreadlocks, a red tilak on his forehead and a full beard, wearing a rust-red saffron-toned shawl, holds up a small orange card toward the camera. The card shows a portrait of a figure in orange robes with raised hand and a small deity murti, labelled with the printed name "PARAMAHAMSA SRI NITHYANANDA SWAMIGAL" and the caption "NITHYANANDA PEETHAM" with a Bangalore address. A microphone clips near his chest and a red-and-white floral garland hangs behind him. A red thread is tied on his wrist. The card's portrait is printed, so it does not count as a physical person.
