Many wear orange-red shawls draped over the shoulders; some women wear colourful salwar kameez and one woman wears a cream sari. A black cow walks among them near the right edge. Behind them, a yellow building, traffic signals, and roadside signboards including one reading BABA BLACK SHEEP are visible. A traffic light and parked vehicles line the road.2015-05-08A photograph of a yellow and white church tower with pointed spires and a cross on top, on a street in Varanasi. Many devotees wear white dhotis and white shirts or kurtas with orange saffron shawls draped over their shoulders. Several women in white saris, some with orange shawls, carry shallow brass-coloured trays on their heads, one holding flower petals or fruit and another a tray of red offerings. A bicycle rider and a man with a camera move among them, and a traffic policeman in khaki stands near an auto-rickshaw at the top right. Bystanders in casual clothes and cyclists are scattered along the road edges, with overhead power lines strung across the scene.2008-08-02
