The figure wears layered gold and stone necklaces over a dark purple velvet garment, a beaded green, red and white garland draped across the chest, and a jewelled hand raised in a blessing gesture. Marigold and yellow and white flower garlands surround the murti in the background, with a gold ceremonial staff at the left edge. No physical people are visible, so this is a photograph of a statue rather than a person.2009-01-12December 28 20082008-12-28 +1 copies2009-GLIMPSES-OF-NAVARATRI-CELEBRATIONDecember 28 20082008-12-282009-GLIMPSES-OF-NAVARATRI-CELEBRATIONA seated deity murti dressed in a golden-yellow silk sari with a dark green border, adorned with layered silver and jewelled necklaces, bangles and a gold crown, with garlands of yellow and magenta flowers and a green rope garland.
