A street procession in a village lane with two deity palanquins (palki) carried on wooden poles by bearers. The palanquins are gilded and draped with long garlands of yellow, red, white and green flowers, and the figures inside are decorated with silver-toned ornaments. Ornate red, pink and multicoloured umbrellas and saffron flags rise above them. Men in white dhotis and shirts, some with white shawls, stand along the roadside watching and some are taking photographs. Closed shutters, a signboard and a utility pole line the street.
