In front, a bearded man in orange robes with a rudraksha mala stands barefoot with palms joined in prayer beside a red-garbed woman with hands folded. To the right, a man in orange holds a lit aarti lamp and a brass vessel while a group of devotees in orange and cream robes stand on a dark polished floor. A person at the far right carries a tall gold-tipped staff under an ornate red and gold canopy. Red offerings are heaped near the shrine, and flower petals and a small brass bowl lie on a white platform in the foreground.2008-12-27December 30 20172017-12-30September 02 20172017-09-02Outdoor ritual scene under a broad leafy tree. On the left, a dark stone statue of a deity wearing an orange cloth, garlands and a crown-like headdress stands on a red rock platform, with marigold offerings at its base. In the centre-right, several men in orange robes stand with palms pressed together in namaskar; a bald man in orange in the foreground holds a small brass lamp on a tray, and a man in white with an orange shawl stands beside him holding a red-cloth tray. Further back, men in white dhotis walk along a path. A green cloth is spread on the ground with brass vessels and a pot, and a long stone snake-like sculpture lies near the base. Shadows and sunlight dapple the path.2006-11-21
