Photograph of a seated ritual scene in a gold-decorated hall. In the background, a man with white hair and beard wears an orange robe and a teal-green shawl and sits on a gold throne-like seat, with a headset visible. In the foreground, two bare-chested men in white dhotis with orange-and-gold borders and rudraksha necklaces sit close together; the nearer one holds a small grey object and a yellow pen-like stylus while looking down. A man at left in white clothing with tilak marks writes with a yellow pen, and a gold kalasha-like vessel stands nearby. The setting suggests a formal ritual or satsang gathering.2017-03-18March 18 20172017-03-18A ritual scene in a temple-style hall with gold decor. In the foreground, a bare-chested man in white dhoti with orange and gold borders and a rudraksha-style necklace holds a small grey stone or box and looks down at it. Beside him a younger man, also bare-chested with an orange-bordered white cloth, leans forward. To the left, a shaven-headed man in white dhoti with white forehead markings writes in a notebook, and a further person at the far left writes in a notebook. Behind them, a figure in orange robes with a teal shawl sits on a gold throne-like seat, eyes closed, with a microphone on the head. Golden ritual vessels and a green plant arrangement are visible. Nothing in the image establishes a person's presence, and the seated figure's appearance is not sufficiently distinctive to identify him.2017-03-18A photograph of seated ritual participants in white and gold dhotis with orange-bordered shawls. The foreground man, bald with white vibhuti marks on his forehead and arms, wears a rudraksha mala and writes on paper with a pen. Other seated men, shirtless or in similar white attire, sit beside him, with a figure in orange robes and a golden backdrop behind. Green foliage stands at the upper right.2017-03-18March 18 20172017-03-18 +1 copiesA photograph of a seated ritual in a temple-style hall. Beside him another man with a shaved head, also bare-chested and wearing a white dhoti, bends forward. At left, a man with white tilak markings on his forehead writes in a notebook. Behind them, a figure in orange robes and a teal-green shawl sits on a golden throne, with a golden kalasha-like vessel and a gold-framed backdrop, and a gold pillar and flowers stand at right.2017-03-18March 18 20172017-03-18A photograph of a seated group of men in white dhotis and shawls at a satsang gathering. In the centre, a bald man in white ritual dress with a red-bordered cloth over his shoulder wears a thick gold bead necklace with a gold pendant. He is writing on a sheet of paper with a blue pen. Around him, others wear yellow shawls over white clothes, one with a rudraksha-style mala, and one person in the lower left rests his head on his hand. The setting appears to be an indoor hall with people seated close together.2010-09-19A photograph of a seated assembly in a bright hall with a pale tiled floor and woven mats. In the foreground, three men sit cross-legged writing on paper: the one at left in white dhoti with gold border and a red pendant, wearing a rudraksha mala, writing on a yellow notepad; the centre man in white dhoti with gold border and a long rudraksha mala writes on a sheet on the floor; the man at right in orange robe with gold trim, bald with white markings on his forehead, writes with a green pen. Behind them, many people in orange and white robes sit and stand, with more devotees in the background and framed pictures on the wall. Several people count in the crowd beyond the foreground, with rough counts well over twenty.2016-01-16March 18 20172017-03-18July 05 20172017-07-05March 18 20172017-03-18
