A small fire burns on a low stone platform in front of a richly decorated deity murti framed in gold, with red and orange garlands and lit lamps. Two bare-chested priests in white dhotis tend the fire near the platform. To the right, a tall standing figure in orange robes and rudraksha beads stands beside a large brass vessel and a ceremonial drum-like object, and a woman in white sits on a chair at the far right. Potted plants and a red-and-white striped mat line the edges.2013-07-17A night-time photograph of an open-sided pavilion with a corrugated roof hung with paper lanterns and colourful tassels. At the far end, a raised stage holds a decorated shrine with deity murti flanked by garlands, and a small fire or oil lamp glows before it while smoke rises. Several white-clad men stand near the stage performing a ritual. Rows of seated devotees in white dhotis and saffron-orange shawls sit on mats in the foreground, facing the stage. A bright spotlight illuminates the scene. No individual is clearly identifiable as a person.2016-10-10September 09 20162016-09-09August 18 20162016-08-18December 29 20082008-12-29September 27 20172017-09-27March 26 20132013-03-26March 29 20132013-03-29May 24 20182018-05-24 +1 copiesMay 24 20182018-05-24
