Night photo of a dense crowd of devotees in white clothes at an illuminated outdoor festival. A lit, multi-tiered temple tower with colourful lights rises behind, with a glowing red deity figure visible. In the foreground, two red tractors with their drivers pass through the crowd, and a bare-chested man in orange at left holds a kalasha-like object. Devotees in white with gold-bordered cloths and garlands dance and raise their arms, some holding long torches. Hanging tassels and lamps frame the right edge. Several men in white wear sacred threads and bands. Many people fill the scene, several of them visible in close detail.

Night procession at an ashram grounds lit with fairy lights, with a large crowd of devotees dressed mostly in white dhotis, saris and kurtas, with orange and red garments among them. A red tractor in the foreground carries a man in a light blue shirt at the wheel, and a woman in a white sari with gold border stands beside it. Several devotees carry long ceremonial staffs or tridents upward. A brightly lit, multi-tiered temple tower with lamps glows in the background. Many women wear red-and-white flower garlands and sindoor-marked foreheads. The crowd is dense and extends into the darkness.2015-07-31July 31 20152015-07-31July 31 20152015-07-31December 31 20152015-12-31December 31 20152015-12-31December 31 20152015-12-31December 31 20152015-12-31A dense night procession of devotees moves toward an illuminated, multi-tiered temple tower lit with warm yellow lamps and strings of coloured lights. Many people in white dhotis and white shirts crowd the foreground, some in saffron-coloured cloth and some women in red-bordered saris. Tall golden poles with trident-topped finials and a large golden trident ornament stand among the crowd, and a decorated golden vehicle appears at the left edge. No individual can be distinguished as a specific ceremonial leader, and the crowd is too dense to isolate any single figure with confidence.2015-07-31December 31 20152015-12-31December 31 20152015-12-31December 31 20152015-12-31A night-time outdoor procession of a large crowd, mostly men and women dressed in white dhotis and saris, moving past an illuminated temple-like shrine tower decorated with coloured lights and a lit deity figure at its centre. Strings of purple and multicoloured fairy lights line the grounds. In the foreground, a man in an orange-red shawl and white dhoti walks among devotees, and brass ceremonial staffs and a metal pot are visible at the lower edge. Several devotees have shaved heads and wear vibhuti markings. The scene suggests a temple festival procession with devotees gathered closely around the ratha area.2015-07-31
