The copper shaft is ringed with bands and topped by a multi-tiered crown-like finial with a saffron-orange flag attached. Yellow and orange marigold garlands drape the base, which holds a small carved deity murti in a niche. Orange cords run from the top of the pole down to the ground. Coconut palms and a thatched hut stand behind, under an overcast sky. At the lower left, a signboard shows a site map of an ashram. No people are visible in the scene.2009-09-29January 01 20172017-01-01December 23 20082008-12-23January 01 20172017-01-01December 03 20162016-12-03Photograph shot from below of a tall copper dhvaja (flagstaff) with ringed segments, topped with a bundle of green leaves and garlanded with marigold chains at its base, standing before a building under a grey overcast sky with coconut palms and bushes around it. Two people stand near the flagstaff's base: a man in an orange-and-white garment and garland pulls a long white cloth or rope attached to the mast, while a bare-chested person with long dark hair and an orange dhoti stands beside him. Another partial figure is visible at the right edge. A small security camera is mounted on the building's eave at the left.2016-12-03January 01 20172017-01-01Low-angle photo of a tall copper flagstaff (dwajastambha) wrapped in white cloth and copper bands, with a bundle of straw or grass at its base decorated with yellow and red flower garlands and green leaves, rising against a pale blue sky with wispy clouds. At the lower right, a person in an orange-saffron garment with a beaded necklace and dark hair stands beside a palm frond, looking toward the pole. The scene suggests a flag-hoisting ceremony.2006-12-23December 03 20162016-12-03
