December 25 20072007-12-25December 25 20072007-12-25Outdoor photograph on a dirt road beside a whitewashed building. A long-haired man in saffron-orange robes, wearing a multicolour flower garland with a red, green and white tricolour-patterned strand, walks under a red parasol with fringed tassels held by a man in white shirt and dhoti with an orange shawl. A woman in white with an orange shawl and flower garland stands at right, and a man in white kneels in the lower foreground. Other people in white and orange walk along the road behind, palm trees and green shrubs line the path, and red and green balloons hang from a tree. The orange-robed central figure is a person by his long hair and saffron robes, consistent with the page's Brahmotsav procession caption.2007-12-25Outdoor photo of a procession on a dusty red-earth ground in front of a terracotta-roofed building. A smiling man with long dark hair, wearing a cream dhoti and shawl with gold borders and a red-and-white flower garland with gold beads, stands at the centre-right as a man in white dhoti and orange shawl holds a multicoloured ceremonial umbrella over him. Behind them, saffron-robed men in orange garments with gold-bead malas stand, and a woman in an orange sari with a long braid bends low to touch the ground near his feet. The scene is a welcome or padapuja-style reverence, with the honoured man being greeted with bowing devotees and a parasol. Nothing about his identity is established by visible cues beyond clothing and garland.2010-01-01December 30 20072007-12-30Outdoor photograph of a smiling man in orange robes wearing a red-orange headband and a long garland of white flowers with red and green blossoms, with a gold-coloured pendant and a beaded mala around his neck. A man in white clothes bows forward while another in white adjusts the orange headband tied around the central figure's head. Behind them, several men in orange shawls and white kurtas stand smiling, one with a rudraksha mala and tilak marks on the forehead. A red fringed canopy with coloured tassels overhangs the scene, under a tree beside a whitewashed building and palm trees. The central figure has distinctive long swept-back hair, orange-saffron clothing, a rudraksha-style mala and gold ornaments, which matches the page's Swamiji note as a probable appearance-based candidate.2007-12-25A photograph of a procession on a dirt path beside a chain-link fence, with orange flags visible behind. A long-haired man in an orange saffron cloth and a long white garland with red flowers and a gold-bead mala stands at left, smiling, with his right hand raised near his side; the presentation cues include long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and ornate gold-bead mala, so this is a probable Swamiji (probable) in person. Around him, devotees in white dhotis and white shirts with lanyards and rudraksha-style malas stand with hands folded in namaskar, one man bowing deeply. Another orange-robed figure stands at right edge and a person kneels at lower left. Yellow petals lie on the ground.2009-12-29December 24 20072007-12-24September 08 20112011-09-08December 30 20072007-12-30A photograph taken outdoors at a black iron gate with decorative finials, beside a white wall and a tree. A smiling figure in an orange saffron robe stands center, wearing a long white and red flower garland around the neck and a red and white bindi mark on the forehead, long dark hair swept back. Swamiji (probable), based on the long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and garland. Two men in white shirts stand at the gate: one on the left with his back to the camera, and one on the right bending forward with his hand raised to his forehead in a gesture of respect. A woman in an orange top partly visible at left, and a car is parked beside the gate.2010-02-15A photograph of an outdoor welcome on a dirt road beside a parked silver car. A smiling man with long dark hair wears an orange-saffron robe and a white and red flower garland, with red-beaded rudraksha malas at his neck, and reaches toward a man in white who bows low before him. Behind them, a woman in a white sari with gold border carries a brass kalasha pot with flowers and greenery, and another woman in white holds a tray of flowers. Men in white dhotis and orange shawls stand around, one holding a long red-handled staff with a silver trident-like top. A red and purple festival banner with pennants flutters above in a green tree-lined setting.2008-11-11
