A dense crowd fills a town street in daylight, with many people in white and cream clothing and women in saris and white head coverings. Several figures in bright orange and red saris stand among them. Behind them stands a two-storey concrete building with shuttered shopfronts, a utility pole and a leafy tree. Hanging signboards are visible on the building façade. A white vehicle is partly visible at the left edge of the frame, with more people gathered around it. The scene suggests a funeral procession or public gathering for a memorial ceremony.
