August 03 20122012-08-03A man with long dark swept-back hair stands on a stone-paved platform in front of a tall reddish statue of Lord Shiva holding a trident and a damaru, with a crescent moon and rudraksha garland. He wears saffron-orange robes, a silver-studded waist belt, a gold-toned beaded necklace, and a gold bangle, and raises one hand in greeting. Potted plants, orange marigold garlands on a railing, and temple structures with spires stand behind under a bright blue sky.Outdoor photo of a red-stepped temple staircase lined with black stone lingam bases and brass vessels. A man in a rust-red dhoti and shawl, wearing a long white and pink flower garland and gold armbands, stands on the steps with hands pressed together in namaskar. A woman in an orange sari with red border stands behind him. On the right, a sannyasi in orange cloth stands with bare chest and an orange shawl beside a colourful fringed canopy. Oleander bushes and a chain-link fence frame the scene under an overcast sky.2017-08-14A photograph of a long-haired man in a flowing orange saffron garment, bare-shouldered and bare-backed, walking in profile on a concrete path beside white railings and green shrubbery. He holds a tall brass staff topped with an ornate trident-like finial in his right hand. The saffron cloth wraps the body loosely and the hair falls to the shoulders. Appearance-based probable candidate: a person, shown walking as a sannyasi with a trident staff, with long swept-back hair and saffron clothing as the qualifying cues. Mild grassy steps and a planter with yellow base appear at the edge.2006-05-22A man with long dark hair, a short beard and a white and red forehead mark walks up a red stone ghat staircase. He wears a rust-brown draped robe with a gold-bordered edge, a thick beaded rudraksha-style mala and a gold necklace with a central pendant. Behind him to the right, a shirtless man in orange robes walks on the steps, with red flags and a seated crowd visible along the railings.2017-07-24A photograph of a man in a rust-red robe with a long white-and-pink flower garland standing at the top of a red stone staircase, hands pressed together in front of his chest. Long dark hair falls past his shoulders and he wears gold armbands and a gold bracelet. Beside him a woman in a red sari with an orange-red shawl reaches toward his arm. On the right a shirtless man in an orange cloth draped over his shoulder stands near a large multicolored canopy with red, yellow, teal and blue fringed tassels. Small dark stone lamps or kalasha-like objects sit on the steps and a metal fence and oleander bushes with pink flowers frame the scene. The man in the robe is an appearance-based a person with long swept hair, a garland and ornate gold adornments, so this is an in-person candidate.2017-08-14December 16 20172017-12-16July 24 20172017-07-24Outdoor photo of a large grey stone Shiva linga draped with a garland of red, orange, yellow and white flowers. On a metal staircase platform beside it, a man with long dark hair, a crescent ornament on his head, a rudraksha-style red-brown beaded necklace and bare upper body sits in meditation. Several other seated figures in orange-red garments and a few brass vessels are on the steps behind him. Pale evening sky and trees in the background.2017-05-22A photograph of a man walking down a stone terrace lined with rows of black Shiva lingas on red-tiered steps. He wears a rust-red dhoti-style robe with a gold-bordered drape, a thick gold necklace of beads, a gold waist belt, a red wrist thread, and a white tripundra mark on his forehead; his eyes are closed. Behind him, two women in orange saffron garments and a woman in white stand near the steps, with a pool and small pathway to the right. The appearance is consistent with Swamiji (probable), walking as a sannyasi, based on the long swept-back hair, ochre-red robe, and gold ornaments. Watermarked page imagery is not described.2017-07-24August 27 20082008-08-27August 12 20122012-08-12
