A bald man in a white shirt bends forward and rests his hands on the seated man's head in a blessing gesture, while the seated man smiles. A gold-trimmed ceremonial belt is visible at his waist. Behind them, a painted backdrop of large trees. At the left edge, several women in white and yellow saris stand nearby, and at the right a young girl in a purple top watches. The seated figure is an appearance-based a person (long swept-back hair, saffron robe, gold ceremonial belt), receiving a devotee's blessing on the stage.2009-12-18January 08 20122012-01-08A seated man in an orange robe and marigold garlands sits on a golden throne with a red cushioned back, his hand raised toward the head of a man in a white shirt and white dhoti who bows forward with hands folded. Behind them, a man in a white kurta with a yellow shawl and rudraksha mala watches, a woman in a maroon sari with a red bindi stands at left, and another man in white stands near the throne. A gold-ornamented carved backdrop and a red curtain frame the scene, with a thatched structure and greenery visible at the top left. The setting appears to be an outdoor-side pavilion with devotees receiving blessings.2009-11-17 +1 copiesA photograph of a seated figure on an ornate gold-and-red throne placing both hands on the head of a man in a white shirt and white dhoti who bows forward. The seated figure wears a long-sleeved saffron/orange robe and has long dark hair swept back; the man receiving blessing wears white with a red-and-white beaded necklace. Behind the throne is a gold repoussé backrest with a relief of a deity, edged with yellow and purple marigold garlands. To the left, a flower arrangement of white lilies and red roses sits on a white pedestal beside bamboo stalks and green draping. In the bottom left corner a man in an orange garment kneels and looks up toward the scene. The seated figure is an appearance-based a person (saffron robe, long swept-back hair, ornate throne), placed in a blessing (padapuja-style) moment; the page does not place him at this event.2008-10-18 +1 copiesJuly 01 20122012-07-01November 17 20092009-11-17 +1 copies
