Night-time photo on a dirt path beside a thatched shed with a lattice wall and a blue-bordered sign. The central figure wears an orange-saffron robe and an orange turban, and holds a folded card or paper. Beside him, a man in a red-and-maroon shawl holds a paper. A man in a red checked shirt and light trousers walks near the middle, and two men in white dhotis and white shirts walk at right, one holding a folded red-gold cloth. A man in a white dhoti and orange shawl and another in a green shirt walk at left, one carrying a small bag. The procession suggests a temple walk, with ritual dress and cloths visible, and the setting is a rural path after dark.2006-12-20December 20 20062006-12-20December 20 20062006-12-20December 20 20062006-12-20A night-time photograph of a group walking across an open dirt ground past parked cars and a low wall. Beside him a younger boy in an orange shawl walks in white clothes. Behind them, older men in white dhotis and shirts walk, one carrying a bundle wrapped in gold cloth. In the foreground a figure in a saffron-orange robe with an orange head wrap walks forward, appearing to be a sannyasi or devotee, with long dark hair. Behind him a line of men in white dhotis and white shirts carry ornate multicoloured parasols with fringed tassels, some with orange scarves draped over their shoulders. On the right, a man in a white dhoti and shirt holds a cloth bundle while another worker in dark clothes stands near a bamboo scaffold framework of a structure under a leafy tree. The setting appears to be a temple construction area with a pale concrete wall in front.2006-12-20Night-time photograph of a group walking across a dusty open ground past a white concrete building with a corrugated roof and a pile of gravel and sacks in the foreground. In the centre, a man in a saffron-orange robe and matching orange head wrap walks forward; his appearance is consistent with the page's description of a person, a probable identification based on the saffron robe and head wrap, though the image is dark. Beside him, a bare-chested man in a red dhoti carries a rudraksha-type garland, and to the left a man in white holds a red handbag and a folded cloth; others in white dhotis and a shirt follow. A man in a checked shirt and light trousers walks on the right. A large yellow bag is carried above the crowd. Six people are visible.2006-12-20Night photograph of a procession on a sandy path lined with palm trees.
