Two saffron-robed sannyasis sit before an ornate white carved throne backed by gold drapery and potted palms. The man on the left, wearing a white face mask and a dark turban, presses his palms together in anjali while holding a microphone; a rudraksha mala hangs at his chest. The younger man beside him wears a dark turban, orange cloth and beaded necklaces, and holds a coconut above a wooden table, seemingly in a ritual offering. Behind them stands a large printed cutout depicting a bearded figure in a red turban, gold necklaces and a garland, raising one hand in blessing; it is a depiction on a board, not a physical person. A small brass oil lamp, a bell and red flowers sit on a side table.2020-12-19Two young shaved-headed... no wait: two young men with tall black hair-turbans sit cross-legged on an orange cushion before a microphone and a wooden lectern. The left youth wears an orange shawl, rudraksha mala and a pendant, holding a coconut on his open palm. The right youth, wearing a white face mask, presses his palms together in anjali and has white vibhuti lines and rudraksha bracelets. Behind them stands a large life-size cardboard cutout of a smiling bearded figure in a red-orange turban, gold necklaces, garlands and gold armbands, one hand raised in blessing. A brass bell and a brass oil lamp sit at right, with marigold garlands nearby. Gold-toned curtains and carved white panels frame the scene.2020-12-24KAILASA LOS ANGELES, USA on 1/1/20212021-01-01KAILASA LOS ANGELES, USA on 1/6/20212021-01-06KAILASA LOS ANGELES, USA on 1/22/20212021-01-22Two young saffron-robed sannyasi-style devotees sit in white upholstered chairs before a large framed portrait of a smiling bearded man in a maroon turban, draped in a red robe and wearing a long garland of marigolds and red flowers with gold ornaments.
