A man in an orange robe with a long, swept-back hair, a purple flower garland, and gold ornaments walks at the centre, smiling. Beside him, a man in an orange robe and dark maroon sash holds a gold trident-topped staff, and another man in orange holds a gold staff at right. Women in white saris with gold borders walk along the left, one carrying a brass bowl of flower petals and another holding a decorated umbrella pole. Palm trees and vehicles are visible in the background, and a crowd of onlookers in white stands further back.2008-12-31December 03 20162016-12-03December 20 20112011-12-20July 19 20162016-07-19A procession walks along a dirt road lined with palm trees and thatched huts under bright sunlight. In the centre, a man in saffron-orange robes and a long white flower garland walks among other saffron-robed sannyasis, one holding a tall golden staff. Ahead, a man in white kurta and a bare-footed devotee carry brass ritual vessels, and several attendants in white dhotis with yellow and orange shawls hold colourful striped and tasselled umbrellas over the group. Some participants wear rudraksha malas. The scene suggests a temple procession.2008-12-25December 29 20092009-12-29
