A uniformed officer with a handheld radio extends his arm to hold back the crowd. Men in orange garments with badges stand behind the barrier, and women in pink saris are in the foreground. Appearance cues are not distinctive enough to identify the robed figure, so the role is described only as a robed devotee amid security personnel.2016-05-09A crowd gathers under a covered shed with green industrial machinery overhead. Central figure in saffron-orange robes with a white garland and a red-and-white head wrap stands among other saffron-clad sannyasis; one bearded man in red robes wears a pink-and-red flower garland. Uniformed officers in khaki and tan stand nearby, one woman in khaki with a bindi listens, and men in white shirts and dhotis surround the group. An elderly bare-chested man in an orange dhoti with a rudraksha mala stands at right. Several people wear vertical white and red forehead marks. The central saffron-robed man has long hair and rudraksha beads, but the appearance is not sufficiently distinctive to confirm the page's a person reference.2012-05-24 +1 copiesJanuary 07 20122012-01-07A crowded temple interior with a dense throng of men and some women pressing toward a grilled gate on the right.
