A dense street procession in a busy town, with a crowd pressing toward a central figure under a colourful striped umbrella fringed with red and green tassels. Flower garlands of white jasmine and red blooms are being held up and offered. Men in white shirts and dhotis mingle with women in orange saris. Red and orange flags fly along the roadside, and a videographer with a camera is filming at left. Several shopfronts line the street, and a framed portrait hangs on a pole. The central figure is partly hidden by the crowd and cannot be clearly identified, so no one is named.
