A night-time photograph of a temple shrine with grey stone pillars and carved walls. A young man in a saffron-orange robe and a patterned blue-and-white conical cap sits cross-legged on the left, hands pressed together in prayer beside a lit oil lamp on a metal stand. Behind him stand two large painted deity murtis, one wearing a red crown and a red-and-gold garment, the other in a purple and teal sari with gold jewellery and garlands. The murtis stand on a red draped platform decorated with yellow marigold garlands, with a brass kalasha-like vessel, brass lamps, a plate of bananas and fruit in front. A red curtain hangs behind the shrine.2007-08-26 +1 copiesOctober 17 20072007-10-17October 16 20072007-10-16October 17 20072007-10-17August 26 20072007-08-26February 23 20082008-02-23A photograph of a figure in a saffron/orange robe with long dark hair and a rudraksha-style necklace seated at the lower left, performing a ritual with a small lamp and brass vessels arranged on a white-draped platform. Behind, two large painted deity statues stand on a raised dais decorated with garlands of orange, yellow and white flowers; the taller figure wears an orange turban and holds a trident-like staff, and the other wears a tall crown and green-and-orange garment. A red curtain frames the open stone pavilion with carved pillars, and a small shrine stands at the right. The statues are not living people, and the saffron-clad figure is an appearance-based candidate whose identity is uncertain, so the description records only the ritual role.2007-12-22August 09 20072007-08-09October 14 20072007-10-14August 26 20072007-08-26 +2 copiesSeptember 13 20112011-09-13August 26 20072007-08-26
