A photo of a puja at a home temple, with two women seated on a red and patterned rug. A woman in a red and green patterned sari and bangles sprinkles orange turmeric or kumkum powder from a small bowl onto a white plate, while beside her an older woman with short grey hair, wearing a white kurta and a rudraksha mala, leans forward to take part. Small brass bowls hold orange and red powders, and a brass spoon and small oil lamp sit on the rug. Other seated devotees in the background wear saris and orange clothing.

Two women sit with palms pressed together in namaskar, eyes closed, in prayer before a large framed portrait. The woman in front wears a red striped kurta and dupatta with a red bangle, and the woman behind wears a bright pink kurta with dark blue trousers and a wrist bangle. The portrait shows a smiling bearded man with a red-orange turban and a yellow-and-pink flower garland, with rudraksha malas hanging from the frame. Below it are a brass deity murti, a red-and-gold decorated shrine, marigold garlands, and a plate of orange and red powders with small brass bowls on a patterned rug. Two physical people are visible.

Two women sit cross-legged on a white cloth on a patterned carpet, performing a puja. The woman on the left wears a grey-beige patterned kurta with red trousers and a red-and-white floral face mask, holding a small bowl and pressing red petals onto a copper plate. The woman on the right wears a pink kurta with a pendant necklace and a pink mask, placing red petals on a silver tray holding a small gold deity murti or shrine. A plastic bag of red flower petals sits between them, with small steel bowls nearby. Behind them a green-clad figure and a television are visible.

Two women stand before a small shrine during an evening puja, one in a pink salwar kameez and the other in a red striped kurta, both holding lit oil lamps toward a deity murti. The murti wears a gold crown, red cloth and a heavy garland of orange and pink flowers, seated on a red-draped altar with brass plates and small offerings. Red curtains with green, orange and yellow geometric panels frame the shrine, and a painted portrait hangs on the wall behind. A figure with a red-and-gold headdress and green garment appears at the right edge beside the murti.

A photo of women seated on a white cloth performing a puja in a temple room with yellow walls and blue-green patterned carpet. A woman on the left in a green dupatta and a red and gold embroidered lehenga wears a yellow face mask and red bangles. Beside her, a woman in a teal kurta with a white dupatta and a navy face mask arranges items on a round metal thali. Plates hold red flower petals, rice, and small bowls, with a red and gold book beside them. Steel bowls and a brass lamp stand sit to the right, and a deity altar with brass lamps is visible at the upper left.

Close photograph of a row of seated women in red, pink and white saris and white-and-grey patterned shawls, each holding a brass puja plate heaped with pink rose petals and white jasmine flowers. Brass cups, a small spoon and lit incense sticks rise from several plates, and one woman wears a gold wristwatch and a black bangle. The setting appears to be a ritual offering line with the people seated close together.
