A large group of devotees, mostly in white clothes with orange-red shawls, sit with hands raised to their heads in a hall with wooden panels and yellow walls. At the centre a long-haired figure with a red-brown wrap and a multi-strand rudraksha mala sits on an ornate orange cushioned throne with eyes closed. Swamiji (probable) is the central seated figure, distinguished by his long swept-back hair, ornate gold-and-bead necklace and throne. To the right stands a tall ceremonial staff with a trident finial. Men and women in white and yellow dhotis or saris surround the throne in a paduka-puja style gathering, several with bare upper bodies and gold-bordered cloths. Hands are clasped on heads in a ritual gesture of reverence.
