Tall orange flames rise over stacked wood, with a ladle or spoon of offering being fed into the fire by a hand at the left. Behind, seated figures in white dhoti-style clothing and orange cloth sit in ritual posture. At the right, a yellow-orange cloth holds white flower garlands, and a small brass oil lamp sits at the lower left. Only partially visible hands and legs indicate people; no face is shown.2012-07-21May 15 20162016-05-15April 14 20182018-04-14July 09 20132013-07-09December 10 20072007-12-10A close-up photograph of a homa fire built from split wooden logs burning on a low platform. The background is blurred, showing a pale wall and a dark doorway. No people are visible.2015-12-23September 09 20162016-09-09A photograph of a fire pit lined with pale stone blocks, with bright orange flames rising from a bed of dark wood sticks. Scattered red rose petals lie on the stone edges, a bundle of straw or grass sits along the front, and a green leaf rests near the lower left. Behind the fire, a brass or bronze vessel with scalloped rim sits on a ledge beside a white cloth with red stripes. The scene suggests a homa or yagna fire with floral offerings. No people are visible.September 09 20162016-09-09June 05 20122012-06-05
