Outdoor photo at a pond with brown water, palm trees and a low wall behind. A long-haired figure in an orange garment, bare-shouldered, holds a brass vessel and green leaves over the water while flower-garlanded people float or lie in the pond on white cloth. Nearby, several saffron-robed men with rudraksha beads and tilak, some with coloured powder on their faces, watch the scene. A bald man in orange stands among them. A wooden pole is visible at the left edge. Possibly a water ritual; the figure appears to be offering or dipping items into the pond.

A figure with long, swept-back dark hair wears orange saffron cloth draped over one shoulder and arm, with a bangle on the wrist and hands raised toward a wooden raft carrying a large white deity murti decorated with garlands and cloth. Beside him, a man with a shaved head in an orange robe stands with hands folded near the raft. On the left, several men in white dhotis and shirts with faces and heads smeared with pink, blue and yellow colour stand at the bank, and one raises an arm. The water is brown and the sky is pale and overcast. The setting suggests a visarjan immersion of a murti after a festival.2010-10-17October 17 20102010-10-17
