Outdoor sports event on a sandy field where four men play a kabaddi-style contest in front of a large seated crowd. In the foreground a man in a white t-shirt and blue jeans leans forward with arm extended toward a bare-chested player in a white dhoti with a yellow waistband. Another player in white shorts and a white shirt stands beside him, and a referee in an all-white shirt and trousers watches. Behind them a crowd of mostly women in white and pastel saris sits on the ground. On the right a raised platform has a white sofa and a seated figure in orange saffron robes, with white-clad attendants standing nearby, beneath striped umbrellas and a red-and-white banner with a portrait. Red balloons and saffron flags decorate the poles. Bare palms stand in the background.
