A dark stone statue of Dakshinamurthi, the four-armed form of Shiva as teacher, stands under a silver-coloured arch framed by carved foliage. The murti wears an orange shawl draped over its shoulders and a garland of yellow and purple flowers, and holds a rudraksha mala. Its base is set in rough rocks with a dark stone plinth. Before it sit a tray with small metal bowls of offerings and a plate of white food, plus a brass lamp and a brass cup in the foreground. Trees and leaves surround the shrine in daylight. No people are visible.
