A large black stone statue of Dakshinamurthi, the seated form of Shiva as teacher, stands in an outdoor shrine beneath green trees. The murti wears an orange-yellow dhoti-style drape and an orange turban, and is garlanded with yellow, pink and purple flower strings and a rudraksha-style bead mala. Its raised hands hold ritual objects. Carved silver framing surrounds the arch behind it. At the base sits a small plaque reading Dakshinamurthi shrine, with a wooden tray of offerings in silver bowls containing food, sweets and a small cup. No people are visible.
