A seated group of devotees in an indoor hall during a satsang-style gathering. In the centre, a man with short dark hair wears a white garment with a saffron-orange shawl and a beaded rudraksha-style necklace, seated behind a row of small framed portrait shrines showing a seated figure in saffron with a crown and garland. Other seated people in white and orange-red robes, some with white tilak on their foreheads, surround him. A woman in an orange wrap sits at the left edge and a woman in white and orange at the right. The shrines appear to be printed or framed portraits rather than live people, and the identity of the central man cannot be confirmed from appearance.

No candidate is clearly identifiable as a person from the visible cues.

Standing attendants in white dhotis and white shirts, some with rudraksha malas and marigold garlands, hold silver thalis and bowls of food and serve along a row of silver trays with red napkins. Other saffron-robed people stand in the background against red drapery. The scene shows bhandara annadan feast service.
