Outdoor Rudra Abhishekam on red stone steps where many participants sit beside black stone shivalingas, each with brass pots, bowls and conch-shaped vessels. A shaved-headed man in a white dhoti and bare chest, with sandalwood markings and a rudraksha mala, pours or arranges offerings at a lingam. Nearby, a woman in a white sari with gold bangles raises her hands in ritual gesture, while a man in orange-red and bare-chested devotees with malas sit around. Women in white and orange shawls and a woman in black tops with a blue-clad attendant complete the scene, with flower petals scattered on the lingams.
