A seated figure in an ornate gold throne with a tiger-skin cushion wears an orange-red turban, an orange-red shawl with gold border, and a long rudraksha-style beaded mala, with bare feet on the golden footrest. The figure appears to be the a person (appearance-based label), receiving pada puja. Seven devotees sit or kneel before the throne; a shaved-headed priest in orange with a white vibhuti forehead mark stands at left, and a man in white kurta on the right washes or offers to the feet while women in saris, one in purple, hold silver plates of fruit, marigold petals and flowers. Brass bells and oil lamps hang above, and a gold-carved lion or dragon head decorates the throne arm.
