A street-side food distribution in a village lane. A man in a green hairnet and white shirt and another man in a cream shirt hold out steel bowls and vessels while a younger man in a striped shirt reaches forward. Women and children gather with hands raised to receive food: a woman in a yellow patterned blouse balances a large steel pot on her head, a woman in a pale blue sari with a long braid, and a small shirtless boy in pink shorts. A smiling man in a white shirt stands at left, and another man in white stands at right. Whitewashed buildings, palm fronds and a blue gate frame the scene.
