Outdoor relief food preparation under a covered verandah beside a whitewashed building. A man in a saffron-orange cloth with bare upper body stands at the pillar pointing toward the workers. Several people in white and cream clothing crouch over large white sacks of grain, one woman in a white sari with a gold-red border kneels, and a woman in a yellow garment stands nearby. Men in white dhotis watch. A bright blue-and-white striped canopy and hanging bunting decorate the area, with large steaming pots on a stove in the background, a glass jar on the ledge, and green plants at right.
