A blurred night-time photograph of an indoor aarti in a covered hall with a corrugated roof and ceiling fans. Three standing men in white dhotis and yellow shawls raise lit oil lamps toward a decorated altar with a deity murti. Seated devotees in white sit on the floor at lower left, near glowing oil lamps, a red tray, and potted plants. Strings of coloured lights decorate the right edge, and hanging banners with patterns stand along the wall.

Four men stand behind an orange-framed counter in white dhotis and white shawls, with thin red-pink cloth over the shoulders; one holds his hands together in prayer. Two women in white sit on mats at a lower table, with kumkum and small brass vessels in front of them. Tall lamps with flickering flames. Dry leaves and brass items lie on the floor, and a steel pot stands at left. A sign in red on the left wall carries text. The setting suggests a homa or puja, but the visible evidence shows only lamps and offerings.2010-10-16 +1 copiesA photograph of a hall with an orange-painted wall and corrugated roof, showing a ritual aarti.
