A photograph of a ritual blessing. A bearded sannyasi with long dreadlocks, bare-shouldered and wearing an orange-red cloth, rests his right palm on the forehead of a seated young man whose eyes are closed. The young man wears an orange shawl printed with dark motifs and a red thread bracelet. Behind them a standing figure in orange cloth is partly visible, with a brass pot or lamp stand at the right edge and a light-coloured wall. The scene suggests a devotee receiving a blessing or touch on the forehead during a temple or ashram ritual.
